So the women of the village of Santiago Atitlan in Guatemala will use the front style of weaving as decoration for their hair--they braid and twist it in. For the export market they'll make belts (which you'll find in the 'Clothing' category) and then they'll use the leftovers to fancy up these purses.

Four Compartment Purse (Recycled Textiles)
These are really something special! The purses themselves are terrific, (lots of handy zippered compartments) and then on the front is a beautiful piece of embroidery. As these are made out of older textiles some of these have some looser threads, so if you want something that looks 'new' you might want to choose another style.
