The 'upcycled' bags are such a nice style--they are app. 13 inches by 10 inches but they can really expand to carry a lot.  As with the overdyed rust bag you'll want to soak this in the sink with vinegar (or run it through your washer on gentle) to get rid of the excess dye. 

These bags are made out of the leftover scraps from various projects and then overdyed to a rich brown-ish/orange-ish.  One of my best selling colors for sure.  I recommend that you soak the purse in the sink with hot water and a cup of vinegar to help set the dye.  And even then I wouldn't wear it with white clothing. 

I've got about a zillion of the beach bags in bright stripes, so expect some variation in the bags.  But they are roughly the same, multicolored and bright and fun.  But feel free to send me an e-mail (contact info is on the home page) if you'd like for me to send you a picture of a few of them so you can pick out the perfect one. 

You may have read earlier that the corte is the skirt that indigenous women wear in Guatemala and the huipil is the blouse.  The front of this purse is made out of a huipil and the back is the corte fabric. 

Note to wholesalers:  The corte and huipil bags are by far my best sellers and they are flying out of the door.  So if you want some I suggest placing an order sooner rather than later, as to avoid disappointment. 

This would be a perfect gym bag.
