This is what fair trade means: The people who made these products received a fair price for their work. Fair trade promotes sustainable community development, gender equity, and safe working conditions. Fair trade is the most efficient strategy for alleviating poverty. Buying fair trade is not an act of charity. It is an act of solidarity. Support fair trade! It makes a world of difference.
